Join or Leave a Queue¶
/queue join¶
- In a thread, MAUQ uses the thread creator as the queue owner.
- In a text channel, choose the
ownerwhose queue you want to join. - You cannot join your own queue.
Before adding you, MAUQ checks that the queue is enabled, that the owner has not personally blacklisted you, and, when enabled, that you meet the queue's rules and verification requirement.
If rules are enabled, choose Agree to continue. By default, choosing Disagree adds you to that host's personal blacklist. Hosts can disable that behavior with /rules blacklist; when disabled, declining simply closes the prompt without adding you to the queue.
/queue leave¶
Leaves the selected queue. In a thread, MAUQ uses the thread creator as the owner. In a regular text channel, you must choose an owner.
When It Is Your Turn¶
The host advances the queue with /queue next. MAUQ either announces your turn in the channel or sends the lobby code to you privately. Keep DMs open if the community sends codes through MAUQ.
Common Blockers¶
| Message | What to do |

| Queue is not enabled | Ask the host to run /queue toggle in that context. |
| Already in queue | Run /queue show to check your current position. |
| Verification required | Complete /verify in your DMs with MAUQ. |
| Blacklisted | Contact the queue owner; personal blacklists are controlled by each host. |
