Troubleshooting¶
A command does not appear¶
- Confirm MAUQ is installed to the server, not only to your user account.
- Check Server Settings → Integrations → Modded Among Us Queue.
- Verify that the command is enabled in the current channel.
- Some commands exist only in a server, thread, or DM context.
MAUQ cannot manage a thread¶
Give MAUQ access to the parent channel and permission to view and manage threads. Channel overrides can deny a permission even when the server role normally allows it.
Verification roles are not changing¶
- Run
/settingsand confirm the configured roles. - Move MAUQ's highest role above both roles.
- Grant MAUQ Manage Roles.
- Ensure the selected role is not managed by another integration.
Verification cannot create or confirm a lobby¶
Check the MAUQ status page. If services are operational, cancel the old session and run /verify again. Verification sessions expire after ten minutes.
The API is unavailable¶
Commands that depend on MAUQ's API display a friendly service error instead of exposing an internal traceback. The notification may include an error ID such as:
Include that ID when asking for support, as it lets us find the corresponding Sentry event without showing private diagnostic details in Discord.
A queue entry disappeared¶
Queue membership expires after 72 hours by default. Rejoin the active queue if the host is still running it.
Still stuck?¶
Join the support server and include:
- The command you ran
- Whether it was in a DM, channel, or thread
- The visible error message and event ID
- The server and channel IDs, when relevant
