Server Administration¶

Administrators configure MAUQ through Discord. Normal server management does not require a separate web dashboard.

Recommended Setup¶

1. Restrict queue commands to hosting channels through Server Settings -> Integrations.
2. Run /settings and choose code and verification log channels.
3. Place MAUQ's role above any verification roles it needs to give or remove.
4. Run /panel in the channel where members should verify.
5. Test the flow with a non-administrator account.

Permissions¶

The permissions below are MAUQ's defaults. Discord server administrators can customize every server-installed slash command under Server Settings -> Integrations -> Modded Among Us Queue. Commands can be enabled or disabled for specific roles, users, and channels.

Discord command access is the first gate. MAUQ still checks its own rules after a command starts. For example, giving a hosting role access to /queue next does not let its members advance someone else's thread queue unless they are that thread's owner or companion. Premium requirements and thread-only checks still apply.

You can:

• Allow a host role to use queue and code commands only in hosting channels.
• Give a moderator role access to /view and /search without granting Manage Messages globally.
• Block a command for a role, member, or sensitive channel.

MAUQ needs Manage Roles to assign or remove verification roles. Its role must also sit above those roles in Discord's hierarchy.

Logs¶

• Code log channel receives code set and clear events. Reports submitted from a code DM go to MAUQ's central moderation channel.
• Verification log channel receives verification activity and panel events.

Keep both channels private to trusted staff. Their messages may contain moderation-sensitive information.
